this plugin is still being maintained
development slowly but steadily moves forward

windows version is built from time to time so
so it may be a little bit outdated -- don't forget
to check README file to make sure that it was compiled
for your version of pidgin

default all and install targets may not work for you
they do work for me and you should be smart enough
to adapt them for your system.  of course, it's easier
to use package that is provied by your favourite os
